Well, apparently I have to make my own pages so we'll see how this goes. Its not as fancy as my dear old brother but it will have to do. And I'm sure he will criticize my page as well. But one has to start some where!

IN THE NEWS!
Kurtis is being honored and appreciated at school on Monday as an Ambassador of the school. This is for Demonstrating spirit, hard work and determination, demonstrating Christian values and fellowship, demonstrating a consistent/improved effort in the classroom, and contributing positively to classroom atmosphere. In the Month of April, he received the "Terrific Kid" award at school for the Month of March. Way to go Kurtis!!!
HOCKEY IS FINALLY OVER! MOM MAKES COACHING DEBUT (picture to follow)
| Kurtis finished his hockey season with a Trenton Hawk
Tournament. The boys swept the tourney winning all their games and
bringing home the trophy. It was a sad ending to a long season as
the kids bid farewell to their coach and players. The head coach
decided to change things up a bit and have some moms coach the first game
on the Sunday morning. After a little hesitation from the boys on
the team, they realized we were serious and meant business. We
pulled off a 5-1 win and had a lot of fun. Kurtis thought it was
pretty interesting having his mom behind the bench.

SOCCER SEASON BEGINS!

Sean has been registered for his 3rd season of Soccer.
He seems to be enjoying this. I think this upcoming winter, he will
play indoor soccer as well. So as most parents (and grandparents
too), we will be sitting outside in the hot sun or the rainy nights and
being his cheering squad.

Meet Jasper. He came to live with us in August and will be one year old this month. He is the biggest suck I have ever seen in cats. Jasper follows me absolutely everywhere, sleeps with me and has to be sitting with at least one paw touching me. Hes also the biggest scaredy cat. He will not go downstairs in the morning once we are up unless someone goes with him. Strange cat! But we love him to death.
AND WHAT AM I UP TO?
Absolutely nothing! I have debated on lacing up the soccer shoes this summer again and getting back into the women's league. I still have not come to a decision about that as of yet. I have decided to take the plunge and sell my house. This is a big step for me since I am going solo on the venture. I have found one close to the area and am now awaiting the sale of mine. I will post some pictures when the sale is final so keep your eyes open for the new place!
