A couple of short videos.  The first is Jonathan rockin out, the second is a few hours later, same song, different results.

Updated pictures in the Gallery as well.

This thing looks hilarious!  Just have to be careful where you aim.

Okay, so Survivor ended last night.  My picks were either Yau or Earl.  Yau 4th and Earl wins in a unanimous vote.  He played a great game.  Next up, the Survivors are in China!  That’ll make for an interesting change of scenery.  Finally away from the tropics.

Tonight, the Manitoba Moose were eliminated in overtime by the Canadiens farm team, the Hamilton Bulldogs.  Too bad, they had a great season.

On the NHL side of things, Ottawa’s looking solid and has Buffalo on the brink of a sweep.  Go SENS! As long as it’s not Toronto, I’ll cheer for any Canadian team. :)

Yummm, smell that?  Our first BBQ of the summer.  We put some nice pork tenderloin on the grill today and absolutely enjoyed it.

Why, you ask, is that so special?  Well, we haven’t had access to our BBQ for about 3.5 years.  It’s been sitting at Lisa’s Mom’s house and we might have used it 3 times in that duration.  Yesterday, we brought the BBQ home to the house and today was the first of many BBQ’d meals to come, perhaps even a winter BBQ in our future. :)

Okay, so technically, he’s a month shy, but we had them done so his photos would be back in time.  Check the Gallery and enjoy.

It’s been a bit since I posted last and it’s been a busy period too.

The last weekend in Aril, my sister flew in from Ontario for a few days visit. We put her to work instead. The Saturday she was here was a major Track and Field event for Special Olympics. Seeing as I was the meet director and Lisa was in charge of awards, we had to be there. So along she came and helped out with awards. With her, she brought a bag full of Special Olympics Ontario buttons that were a hit with the athletes. (You did a great job sis!)

This past weekend, we were running an Estate Garage Sale for Lisa’s late-great-Uncle. They ran it on Friday as well as Saturday and sold more than 3/4 of the stuff. Despite the rain, it was a good day.

On the Friday, I made out like a bandit at another garage sale. Picked up a couple of big metal Tonka trucks, a Duplo table and big box of duplo blocks, plus a Little Tikes Mountain Railroad set. All that for a whoppin $40!

Let me tell you, Jonathan LOVES his Tonka dump truck!

A few other pictures from Pat’s visit are in the April gallery.
